We still have many deployed American heroes and they need our support more than ever. HeroBox is sending more and more boxes and we need your help to keep going! We are completely funded by you and want to give all we can to say thank you to our deployed troops. Will you help us say thank you?

    HeroBox is run by a small staff of dedicated individuals who believe in its mission. We receive no government assistance or large grants. We need people like you to help keep us going.

    We believe that our deployed troops deserve all the support we can give them. There is a misconception that we no longer have troops who are overseas or in harm’s way, this is not true! There are many Americans far from home, sacrificing time with their loved ones to defend us. We want to say thank you and give back.

    No business is free to run, all organizations have costs to operate. While there is a lot of talk about how “overhead” is bad, the fact is that staff is overhead, the electricity bill is overhead, and internet costs are overhead. Overhead is very important and you cannot run an organization without it. Donations keep the lights on and pay our 2 staff members and contractors so we can fulfill our mission. Please consider heling us.

  • Yes! We are a tax exempt 501 (c)(3) organization with the IRS. Our EIN is 26-3985630. You will receive a receipt with each donation for your taxes.

  • If you elect to give to those areas where it is most needed, we will use the donation to fund the areas where we need the most help. That might be to pay our bills, cover shipping costs, or help with outreach. All areas of our operations ultimately go to supporting the troops, because that is all we do. We promise to steward your money wisely and with our mission always in mind.

  • Yes! You will receive an email with a tax receipt when you donate. If you ever need anything more you can contact us directly.

  • Either is great! We need both. Donations help fund our organization and keep it running. We can’t connect sponsors to heroes if we don’t cover operational costs. Sending a box is way to say thank you directly and connect with a Hero. We are profoundly grateful for both methods of giving!
