Piedmont Healthcare and our heroes

Piedmont Healthcare’s Human Resources Business Partners group met last Thursday and ended its session with a community service project. The group filled 100 boxes for HeroBox, a local non-profit organization that supports deployed, injured, aging and homeless veterans, with items such as snacks, DVDs, decks of cards, thank-you notes, hygiene items and more.

“As a former member of the military, I can’t tell you how much receiving something like this means to the men and women overseas,” said Frank Leist, an HR BP from Piedmont Mountainside. “Getting anything from home is a big deal.”
