Hi HeroBox friends, I just wanted to take a quick minute and say thank you!! Almost two years ago my husband left for his first deployment and became a HeroBox recipient. We had been married less than a year and since I was still starting out I wasn't able to send him packages as often as I wanted to. So I was so glad to know that someone else was also helping look out for my Army man! And I know he appreciated so much knowing someone else besides his wife and mom cared about him and what he was doing. He was alway so happy to tell me when he had received a new box and it was a real highlight to him and his fellow soldiers. I know he wasn't always able to communicate with his sponsor as often as he would have liked but he was always appreciative. After he got home I wanted to find this group so we could plan to sponsor our own hero in the next year or so but I had forgotten what it was called and wasn't able to find it. So I'm so glad to have come across it again! Anyway, I hope you all know that what you do makes a big difference to both soldier and their families, keep up the good work!
